New Brunswick (N.B) Province  has the following categories 

Express Entry Labour Market (EE) - Candidates are picked direct from Federal Pool of EE -

(Applicants must meet specific criterias to be eligible for Interest Letters)

Skilled Worker with Employer Support  - Requires an eligible job offer

Entrepreneurial Stream - Currently Paused

Post Graduate Entrepreneur - Accepting Expression of Interests 

“Targets qualified foreign entrepreneurs who are interested in owning and actively managing a business that will contribute to New Brunswick’s economy”

N.B does not conduct regular PNP draws

The New Brunswick Express Entry stream is currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the following 2 categories:

• Working for a New Brunswick employer
• Enrolled in a New Brunswick publicly-funded post-secondary institution

New immigration stream for international graduates of private career colleges

NB is piloting a new immigration stream to help support the province’s increasing labour needs, in collaboration with IRCC

Starting April 1, 2022, int'l students who graduate from one of four long-standing New Brunswick private career colleges, and who have studied in one of 19 identified occupations, will be able to apply to the Provincial Nominee Program, allowing them to work and live in the province while they wait for permanent residency.

The participating institutions are:

• Atlantic Business College;
• Eastern College;
• McKenzie College; and
• Oulton College.

This stream will be accessible to new graduates from the designated institutions who are not currently eligible for the federal Post-Graduation Work Permit program. 

This stream will limit participation to institutions that offer eligible programs of study in education and social development, heath care, information technology and cyber security, business administration, and supply chain and logistics. 

Targeted occupations for this pilot include:

• social and community service workers;
• early childhood educators and assistants;
• educational assistants;
• health-care aides;
• home support workers;
• licensed practical nurses;
• paramedics and related occupations;
• medical laboratory technologists;
• medical laboratory technicians and pathologists’ assistants;
• medical administrative assistants;
• computer programmers and interactive media developers;
• web designers and developers;
• computer network technicians;
• user support technicians;
• accounting technicians and bookkeepers and payroll clerks;
• shippers and receivers;
• supply chain and logistics supervisors; and
• production logistics co-ordinators.

Important Info from NBPNP

Starting April 1st, 2022 Post Graduate Work Permit Holders (PGWP) who have completed their studies outside of New Brunswick are eligible to apply for the NB Express Entry Stream, only if the applicant receives a job offer in a NOC that is related to their field of study.
